  • Take a picturesque drive from Rishikesh to Lohajung (7,600 ft), the starting point of the trek
  • Witness breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks like Trishul, Maiktoli, Nanda Devi
  • Take a refreshing break at "Teen Dhara" and capture stunning memories
  • Check into your guesthouse/camp/homestay in Lohajung
  • Gear up for the trek by purchasing any necessities
  • Note: The pickup point will be Rishikesh Railway Station

  • Take the trail behind the bus stand in Lohajung that descends to Raun Bagad through mixed forests (2-2.5 hrs)
  • Cross the iron bridge across the famous Neel Ganga river
  • Begin the climb to Didna village (8,300 ft) - a difficult climb taking about 1.5 hours
  • Experience great mountaineering views throughout the trek
  • Overnight stay in Homestay or Camp at Didna

  • Take the trail that climbs to Tolkaan in the northern direction
  • The meadow trek goes through switchbacks and grassy oak mountains
  • From Tolkaan, take a sharp left towards the south to come out of the forest at Ali Bugyal (11,800 ft)
  • Enjoy incredible views of the valley and surrounding peaks
  • Trek slightly upwards to Bedni Bugyal (1.5-2 hours)
  • Overnight stay in tents at Bedni Bugyal

  • Start early to acclimatize to the high altitude
  • Climb steeply to Kalu Vinayak (1.5 hours) via zigzag paths
  • From Kalu Vinayak, descend gradually to Bhagwabasa (14,100 ft) through snow patches
  • Explore the morning view of Bedni Bugyal, green grass, Bedni Kund, and Patti ka danda
  • According to myth, Lord Brahma created the Vedas here
  • Depart to Patar Nachauni (5 km, 2-3 hours) with views of Nanda Ghunti, Trishul, waterfalls
  • Night halt in camp at Patar Nachauni

  • Trek 3 km gradually uphill to Roopkund Lake (16,499 ft) - 3-3.5 hours
